Beneficiaries on estate and tax planning.
Our administration of
estates often includes a wide range of services depending on the
testator’s instructions in his will.
We are often named by the
testator to act as Liquidators, Executors and Trustees and to administer
the settlement of the estate. On the other hand, as well, we are often
mandated by the Liquidators, Executors or Trustees to actively settle
and administer the Estate on their behalf and report to them on a timely
basis.
Our services include
working with accountants and providing paralegal assistance which
permits us to effectively gather information on the assets and
liabilities of an estate, probate the will, apply for grants of probate,
realize assets, prepare accounts, distribute assets to beneficiaries
when government releases are obtained, make all necessary filings with
the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency and obtain appropriate government
releases.
